SUMMER EXPECTATIONS FOR OUR PLAYERS
1. We can ONLY control two things:
· ATTITUDE- everything starts with attitude. It’s the key to success; everything comes from your attitude. Attitude takes
you to the next level.
· WORK ETHIC- THE TEAM expects players to work extremely hard
to make themselves the best they can become with their individual God given ability. Practices will be demanding, THE TEAM always
expects our players to be the best physical conditioned team on the field during the season. That is why THE TEAM expects you
to prepare your body in the summer by strength training & speed training.
2. Prepare
yourself to be the best you can be. Believe in yourself.
· Question to ask yourself
everyday: “AM I GOING TO GIVE IT MY BEST EFFORT TODAY!” You have to have a passion- a relentless desire for something.
3. THE TEAM expects each player to be a TEAM PLAYER- what can you do to make our team better. Personal sacrifices.
· Summer strength training- Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays (6:30-7:30am or 7:30-8:30am) SEE CALANDER
· Speed Training- Tuesdays & Thursdays during strength training sessions.
· Skill Development/ 7 on 7- Mondays @ 8:45-9:45 (June 4,11, 18) & Sundays @ 7:00-9:00pm

· The team has to come first-
it is a WE ATTITUDE. If each player is only in this for himself then we will not be as successful.
4. THE TEAM expects you to do what is RIGHT. You are representing our football program, our school, our community, and your parents…….and
most important YOU! You accept the responsibility as being part of THE TEAM.
· Adhering to the school training rules- you are role models for the ALL kids in our school district and as well for your peers.
· You will make decisions every day……make sure your actions and decisions DO NOT hurt THE TEAM and YOU! You are 100% a product of your
choices and not your situations.
5. EVERYONE IS SOMEONE. THE TEAM expects you to make
a positive contribution to our football team. Every player will have a role on this team. YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Make a mental picture of yourself.
6. THE TEAM expects our players to be SUBSTANCE FREE. Tobacco, Alcohol, or any form of drug.
